        HITTING THE NAIL
         ON THE HEAD...by T.La Lande

Nails can tell much more about our health, then we may realize. Below are several examples...

  1) Clubbed or parrot beaked nails may indicate a chronic lung/heart condition...
  2) The separation of nail from nailbed could infer
iron deficiency, hypothyroidism or fungal infection...
  3) Horizontal ridges on the nail may idicate
malnourishment...
  4) Vertical ridges on the nail might be a message of nutrient malabsorption...
  5) Spoon shaped nails could portend iron deficiency...
  6) Brittle nails could relate to deficits in biotin, iron, zinc or a nail fungus...
  7) White spotted nails could be bruised nails or a zinc deficiency...

Most of our readers are         aware of the detox benefits    of Milk Thistle, on the liver.    Another good detoxer is          chlorophyll. This key                pigment component of            green plants, packs a health    punch.(ie; alfalfa..
chlorella..spirulina..kelp/
seaweed..chlorophyll
capsules..)
   In some studies where
food sources as well as             supplement sources of
chlorophyll were used,
results of 50% reduction in
environmental toxins were
achieved. Considering the
levels of pollutants in our
daily lives and their                   deleterious, long term
effects on our health,..more
green and brightly                     pigmented veggies & fruits
are needed in our diets.
