                      Omega 3 -Foods -Toxins

A type of blindness, known as RETINOPATHY OF                PREMATURITY, which is seen in premature infant births,
appears to be helped through the consumption of Omega 3.
(Nature Medicine)....This condition manifests as leaking blood
from damaged and abnormal retinal blood vessels.
According to the research done, this fish oil cut in half the
incidences, in lab studies, of this disease. More of the essential      fatty acids, especially Omega 3 should be used regularly, for our    health and especially the health of our children.
Foods high in Flavonals and consummed often, have been      linked to reduced rates of pancreatic cancer. But, what will be
the strength of these phyto-nutrients and compounds, so                 necessary for our health; when in the future, as our already            distressed soil, becomes more dependent on artifical fertilizers,
we find ourselves consuming, nutritionally depleted foods?
Already, changes have been seen in the soil. An 85%                     micronutrient depletion was previously recorded in 1992.
What about accompanying toxins leaching into ground water,    our food supply, air and ourselves?   In a study in 2004, 287          dangerous chemicals  were found in the umbilical cord blood of     newborns. In a situation such as this, it becomes even more            important to augment our nutrient shortfalls with supplements,     whether vitamins/or herbs and to give our  families more organic   foods, to protect theirs and our own health.
