  * A downside to diet soda consumption comes       from studies which show that diet sodas cause a       release of insulin into the bloodstream.
Considering that diets sodas, by their very               nature contain no sugar, this  insulin release               causes blood sugar levels to diminish, which              then triggers your appetite and causes you to             feel hungry, when you may not be, thereby                 making you overeat.

  *  In some instances, disorders of the lymph
system, liver, respiratory dysfunction and diabetes
may be expressed in the nails as a yellowish tinge.
Whiteish looking nails  may be indicative of
  anemia, kidney or liver problems.
Nails that are pitted, frayed or split at ends and       containing spots of brownish-red, could relate to       psoriasis.
Cirrhosis may be suspected, when the white tips
of the nails are tinged with pink.
